Casablanca 0001850 BFR

The BFR is for use on Casablanca Ceiling fans which use the Inteli touch circuit board.

This part connects to the circuit board via a ribbon style connector.

This part typically is only purchased/needed when an older RMM circuit board is being replaced

Older Casablanca Intelli Touch fans used a BFR but the BFR had wires which connected it to the printed circuit board rather than a ribbon cable. On these older fans the BFR is required when replacing the RMM Printed Circuit Board as the new board requires the ribbon style of connection.

If you are having operational problems with your fan, generally replacing the 0001850 BFR alone with no other parts will typically not fix the problem. Most problems with Inteli Touch fans are with the RMM circuit board or the W32 wall control switch. The only known exception where a problem is solely caused by the BFR is as follows: The light works normally, the fan circuit board beeps to acknowledge every speed, however selecting speeds 1-5 result in the fan blades not slowing to a stop, but when selecting speed 6 the fan will runs at the highest speed and maintain it. In this scenario replacing only the BFR may correct the problem
